Mikel J Koven

Mikel J. Koven is Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Film Studies at the University of Worcester. He has published extensively on the topic of folklore and film and is the author of La Dolce Morte: Vernacular Cinema and the Italian Giallo Film (2006) and Film, Folklore and Urban Legends (2007). He co-edited the book Folklore/Cinema: Popular Film as Vernacular Entertainment (2007) and the special issue of Western Folklore on "Folklore & Film" (2005).
